McKim Strategies Nominated for Pollie Award

Saratoga Springs, NY–McKim Strategies has been nominated for a prestigious Pollie Award, the Political Consulting field’s equivalent of the Emmy Awards. The Pollie Awards are presented by the American Association of Political Consultants. McKim Strategies has been nominated in the category of Best Internet Website for its work for the Ballston Republican Committee .

The Pollie Awards will be presented by the AAPC at its annual conference on March 16th in Santa Monica, California.

The American Association of Political Consultants, founded in 1969, is a bipartisan organization of political professionals. Association membership consists of political consultants, media consultants, pollsters, campaign managers, corporate public affairs officers, professors, fund-raisers, lobbyists, congressional staffers and vendors and is open to everyone associated with politics from the local level to the White House.

McKim Strategies Knocks Out 30 Year Incumbent

Saratoga Springs, NY–McKim Strategies, in a race dubbed the “Heavyweight Campaign of the Capital Region” knocked out 30 year incumbent Democrat Tom McTygue in the race for Saratoga Springs Commissioner of Public Works by more than 20 percent. At the end of the night, Scirocco won in 96% of the election districts in Saratoga Springs including Democrat stronghold Skidmore College. McKim Strategies was brought on as the Campaign Manager for Anthony “Skip” Scirocco. McKim Strategies implemented a strategic plan of marketing, branding, new media, volunteer coordination, and campaign technology to bring down the political boss.

McKim Strategies was also influental across Saratoga County in its Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts, the largest and most successful to date, providing data management, and technology coordination for all of the County’s GOTV efforts.
